Omas gegen Rechts has been campaigning for democracy and civil courage for years with heart instead of agitation.

In this workshop developed especially for the festival, significant quotes from AfD politicians will be presented and exposed as anti-democratic, anti-human rights agitation. Together with the participants, creative, vociferous, fact-based opposition is practised and the strongest slogans against the right are collected and painted on colourful posters that can be used at the next anti-AfD demonstration.

In their workshop, the Omas gegen Rechts will talk about their motivation and about activism in old age, about their experiences on the streets of Baden-Württemberg, about situations of incomprehension, but also about many touching moments of hope and solidarity.
