Orientation is the perception of space through the body. A body language that relies on the body to inhabit the space. Ceylan Öztrük, who received the Swiss Art Award in 2022, emphasises the concept of orientation in order to rethink spatiality through disorientation.

Since disorientation means becoming an object or sculpture oneself, "Wearing the Angles, Kissing the Room" is a narrative about the clash and fusion of body and building, person and institution, curved and straight.

A text constitutes the form of this work and expands into the space, while an impressive stage installation creates a dream-like state. "Wearing the Angles, Kisses the Room" focuses on the momentum of circumvention in order to realign the orientation between bodies and constructed spaces and to create a different kind of orientation towards things. Disorientation becomes an element of the body and allows body and building to flow into one another. In an unagitated performance, the moment of losing oneself is staged through purposeful disorientation.

Following the performance, there will be an approximately half-hour post-show discussion where the artists can be asked questions and talk about the play (moderated by Fabiola Eidloth, RAMPE).
